Cabo Nigt Life and Bars Part 2

In my last post I talked about Bars in Cabo, all located in Cabo San Lucas, now I will talk about the Bars in San Jose del Cabo. It is worth mentioning that all Bars in San Jose, as some of San Lucas, are not Bars in every sense of the word, but rather restaurants that become bars at night, with music and live bands.




Let's start now with the newest ...

VIKTORIA. It is an open air terrace with lounges and bar tables. It has indoor air-conditioned but the atmosphere gets out. They play different types of music depending on the day, DJ music, rock band and Fridays there's a Cuban live band playing salsa that gets very good atmosphere. Drinks are by the glass or open bar with a bracelet that you can purchase, go for it. Thursdays are martinis ladies night.

DISTRICT. With an industry trend atmosphere, it is open for lunch and dinner and at night there House-DJ music. It has VIP lounge and terrace for smokers. Most try the beef carpaccio!

ROCK & BREWS. A restaurant bar with excellent atmosphere and decor. Two of the owners are Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS Band, which has made the place becomes very popular. By the way, let me show off one of my photos with them to you. The restaurant is a Hard Rock style handles American style food, and at night the Bar has live bands, with rock music obviously and some of the play list. Tuesdays is ladies night. It has two levels, VIP room and a large terrace...one of my favourites in San Jose...and pizzas are great!

11:11 (eleven:eleven). It's a very small bar on a second floor, decorated with chandeliers and crystal lamps combined with neon lights which makes a unique atmosphere. DJ electronic music and some of the play list. Tuesdays is ladies night which is perfect, so you can go there after ROCK & BREWS which is just next door!

MIXOLOGY. The Secret Bar on Cabo...It is based Speakeasy places (usually of The Mob) of the early twentieth century, the entrance to these secret bars was accepted by having a password to safeguard the identity and privacy of the place. It is opened only on Saturdays. And presents different DJs with excellent house and funk music. In order to get access you need knock the door and wait until they open a slit and ask you for the password. To get the password you need to be added to their page on facebook, where they post 3 clues during the week to help you to deduce it, if you don't do it, you will not get access, even if you tell them the clues. MIXOLOGY is intent on create an atmosphere where experiences happen and senses are seduced.

SHOOTERS. This Sports Bar is a tradition in San Jose. It is a rooftop terrace with a spectacular view of down town and main square. For years it has been the favourite of Canadian and American tourists. Showing all PPV events NFL, NBA, UFC, Boxing etc. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with mexican-amercan menu and daily promotions without time restriccions. Home of the 15 peso beer!

CHILTEPINOS. A sports bar with rock, pop, electrónic, hip hop and latin music.

LA LUPITA. A Taco & Mezcal restaurant bar. Tacos are gourmet style and delicious...I love octopus taco! It has live music some days a week with very good bands and very good atmosphere. Definitely a place to visit!

LA OSTERIA. This is a cozy bar that makes you feel comfortable. The food and appetizers are excellent and it has a good wine list as well...try the ajillo calamari! Fernando the owner is almost always there which guarantees an excellent service. There's live music on thursdays, fridays and saturdays, and they have very good bands.

OXIDOS BAR. This Bar offers different music options. From Rock band to Mariachi and has also karaeoke. It has many promotions during the week. you can see always one of the owners there which guarantees the service that is very good. Excellent atmosphere specially from thursdays to saturdays.
